State ELA (FAST PM3) Tests:
Niceville High School students who entered ninth grade in 2022 or 2023 will receive testing information and date/time/place assignments from their English teachers beginning on April 17. Students who do not have an English class on campus will receive information from one of their other teachers.
State End-of-Course Exams (EOCs):
Students taking Algebra 1, Biology, Geometry and/or U.S. History in classes on Niceville’s campus will receive testing information and date/time/place assignments from their teachers beginning on April 17.
Students taking Algebra 1, Biology, Geometry and/or U.S. History online at Okaloosa Online or FLVS should report to the media center on the following dates and times:
Algebra 1 Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 a.m.
Biology Wednesday, May 17, at 7:00 a.m.
Geometry Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 a.m.
U.S. History Monday, May 15, at 7:00 a.m.
Homeschool and full-time online students who entered ninth grade in 2022 or 2023 and/or who take any of the four EOC courses must contact Kim Nihill-Taylor at Nihill-TaylorK@okaloosaschools.com in advance to secure a seat.
Notes:
- A passing score on the tenth-grade ELA test is a graduation requirement.
- A passing score on the Algebra 1 EOC is a graduation requirement.
- ALL EOC scores comprise 30% of the student’s grade for the course. Failure to take the test will result in a student’s receiving an Incomplete grade and no credit for the course which may prohibit promotion to the next grade level.
