As well as celebrating Black History Month in February , next week is National HOPE Week.
During the week , our students will be doing numeorus activiities throughout the week related to HOPE week including some designated color days. See our Facebook for details regarding this special week.
Our students are working hard to show their academic growth this 2nd semester. Help support your child by making sure they are on time and present at school. Attendance has a direct relationship to improving your childs academics. We will be looking for classes with the highest attendance and lowest tardiness to honor them with a special treat just for being on time!

Come join us tomorrow night from 5:00 -7:00 for our annual Read-A-Rama Pajama Night.
Meet in the cafeteria for Hot Chocolate and Cookies from 5-5:30, then story time from 5:30-7:00. We look forward to seeing all of you in your Pajamas ( students & adults) tomorrow night while you listen to our teachers (in character) read some of their favorite stories.

Although the recent weather has been unprecedented, safety is always a priority. We look forward to seeing our Eagles back Monday morning.

We also know the cold weather has altered many of our schedules.
Since we are not planning on ressuming school until Thursday 1/23, Open House is cancelled and will look for an alternate date.

Monday's MLK parade has been canceled due to weather. As always we will keep you posted through Facebook or callouts on updates for inclement weather for next week and how it may impact schooling.
As for now we look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday 1/22 for Open House. 5-5:30 Title parent meeting in the cafeteria and Pizza will be provided while supplies last.

Tomorrow's English Language Learners (E.L.L) parent night will focus specifically on those families that speak a primary language other than English in their household and ways to support your child in school. If you are interested in volunteering please see our Facebook for details. We are very proud as our Archery team finished 2nd in this weekends tournament at Choctaw high school . Plan ahead as we will be dismissing at 1:30 PM on 12/20 for the Winter Break
