Due to expected winter weather making travel unsafe, school and extracurricular activities are canceled on Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd. Snow, sleet, and freezing rain are expected. We anticipate school reopening Thursday but will continue to monitor conditions to ensure it is safe. On Tuesday, January 14, we had the pleasure of having several NHS students join our RMS Speech and Debate Team club meeting from 230-330 pm. These NHS students spent time workshopping in small groups with our middle schoolers to help prepare them for an up-and-coming tournament. Eli, Matthew, Kayla, Cole, Reagan, and Libby did an outstanding job of listening to our students and responding with personal experiences and wisdom. We are so grateful to have such bright and eager kids across the road ready and willing to step in and give our middle schoolers a boost of confidence! We appreciate our community!

We would like to thank everyone who came to the PTO meeting last night, and we were happy to see some new faces. We will be sending out information within the next week regarding the upcoming school dance, Thursday, February 13, 5 pm -7 pm . We will need volunteers to help with setup, chaperone, and cleanup. If you plan to volunteer at the dance, please make sure you have completed all volunteer paperwork with OCSD. This must be on file and approved before you can volunteer.
